How to create a ZIP file ( Windows Mac OS)

Zip file

Why you should create ZIP files?

File compression is a data compression method in which the logical size of a file is reduced to save disk space for easier and faster transmission over a network or the Internet. It enables the creation of a version of one or more files with the same data at a size substantially smaller than the original file. File compression is also known as file zipping. Zipped (compressed) files take up less storage space and can be transferred to other computers more quickly than uncompressed files. In this article, we will go through step by step process of compressing files on the two most popular operating systems Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.
Now, when we know what compression is and for what it can be used, it is time to create a zip file.
